Weird crowd... not for everyone

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
I was dragged into going to Zaphod's by friends, when I got in I realized immediately this wasn't the place for me. The music was punk rock/emo, and the people were dressed up weirdly... no dress code.
Had some Jaggerbombs, and at $3 a pop I can't complain. The barman actualy did some of the coolest drink I have ever seen. To pour our jaggerbombs, he stacked all of the glasses on top of each other, and filled them up with Red Bull (immmitation) from the side. They sell 40oz of beer, which is...special.

The have a couple of banged up pool tables.

If your 18-20 and this is your type of music/people/culture you may love this, but beware, it is different than any other bar/club in Ottawa. It is not a mainstream place. Although I have heard that on some nights it is more "normal", but don't quote me on that.
